Process Steps:
- Watch animation instructional videos
- Design your original character(s)
- Create a story outline
- Draw out your action in storyboards
- Begin creating artwork in Flash
- Build layers and animate
- Export animation as JPEG Sequence
- Import Sequence to Final Cut
- (Bonus) Add sound effects and music in Soundtrack Pro
Project Requirements:
- Complete character turn-around on the character design template.
- Create a written outline of your short story.
- Draw out storyboards.
- Animation must be created in Adobe Flash.
- Animation must have an original character.
- Use different animating methods to create convincing motion.
- Animation must be between 20-30 seconds at 24 fps (480-720).
- Export animation as JPEG sequence to Final Cut Pro and export your movie in Quicktime format.
- (Bonus) Add sound and music to your animation.
