Different Styles of Stop Motion Animation
Stop Motion animation is a technique where people or objects are manipulated in small increments and photographed after each move. When each image is played back in sequence it creates the illusion that the objects or people are moving. Stop motion is typically used in film sequences that would be impossible to film as live action.
There are many different styles of stop motion animation. Some require specific materials or equipment that are not available to us in this class. Listed below are the styles that can be produced with little or no materials or equipment.
